A senior managing director in Baretz+Brunelle’s New York office, Xenia applies decades of experience leading the communications function at some of the country’s most prestigious law firms in advising on communications strategies and tactics.
Before joining Baretz+Brunelle, Xenia served as the director of communications at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, a perennial Am Law 50 firm. She also is a former legal journalist, having reported for The American Lawyer and for the Daily Journal.
Previously, she was the director of strategic communications at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan and spent several years in communications at King & Spalding and Ropes & Gray. She also oversaw PR for two of the nation’s top class actions firms: Labaton Sucharow and Milberg. For the past four years, Xenia has served as the co-president of the Law Firm Media Professionals organization, the leading association for law firm communicators.
Xenia received her B.A. from the University of the Philippines and her M.S. from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
