Sumitro continues to oversee global operations for LexFusion, the premiere legal tech accelerator and advisor to innovation-minded law firms and corporate legal departments, acquired by Baretz+Brunelle in 2025.
Throughout his career, Sumitro has helped law firms and corporate legal departments use innovative technology and processes to fuel their growth. At Thomson Reuters, he assisted law firms, Fortune 500 companies, and other clients in the Asia-Pacific region on using legal technology effectively, and deploying the right blend of people and technology. That work built on the start of his legal innovation journey at Pangea3 (then owned by Thomson Reuters), where he rose to manage one of the largest global review teams serving Fortune 500 and Am Law 100 clients in some of the most impactful matters on the planet. Sumitro is also an innovator in using Six Sigma techniques to enhance project management.
Sumitro is a graduate of Amity University and a member of the advisory board of Sarvahitey, a non-profit establishing libraries across India.
