Miranda is a managing director in the Talent Intelligence & Acquisitions practice at Baretz+Brunelle, where she draws on her 15 years of legal recruiting experience to advise firms on pre-hire intelligence as well as partner and group acquisition strategies.
Throughout her career, Miranda has served as a trusted advisor to Am Law 200 firms and boutiques nationwide in acquiring lateral talent for strategic roles. She previously served as a principal at Aspire Legal Search Group, a senior director of partner and group movements at Lateral Link, and in senior roles at other legal search firms. In addition to her expertise in individual partner movements, Miranda has engaged with law firm leaders to facilitate cross-Atlantic merger discussions. Additionally, she has worked closely with firms in opening new offices in major legal markets. Her experience gives her deep knowledge of the legal market and the challenges that come with partner and group moves.
Miranda is a frequent writer on the legal market. She is a graduate of Wichita State University and St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, where she served on The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice and became a member of the Phi Delta Phi international legal honors society. She practiced law briefly before transitioning to legal recruiting.
