Miranda is a senior managing director in the Talent Intelligence & Acquisitions practice at Baretz+Brunelle, winner of a Legalweek Award for Innovation in Hiring, Staffing, and Recruiting. Miranda is an expert in the market for legal talent, with insights into partner acquisitions gleaned from her 15-plus years of industry experience spanning the Am Law 100 and beyond.
With her deep understanding of the market, she works closely with firm and practice group leaders to develop growth-driven talent acquisition strategies involving individual partners, groups, and firm combinations. Miranda leads research strategy and analysis on her engagements, using B+B’s in-house human intelligence capabilities, deal flow data, regulatory filings, and court dockets to design and implement talent acquisition strategies addressing growth objectives. Additionally, she guides her clients through the talent acquisition process, navigating disclosures and negotiations and avoiding pitfalls.
With more than a decade of deep industry experience before joining B+B, she successfully placed partners and groups with Am Law 100 firms and beyond, guiding firms through associated new office openings and merger combination discussions. She holds a J.D. from St. Mary’s University (Phi Delta Phi honors society; Law Review on Race and Social Justice) and a bachelor’s from Wichita State University, magna cum laude.
