Edward Marshall is an intelligence advisor to the Baretz+Brunelle Talent Intelligence + Acquisitions team, drawing on his vast experience in intelligence gathering, risk mitigation, and leadership in the legal profession. Edward is the CEO and founder of Presage Global, an intelligence-driven risk mitigation and business advisory firm. He is a risk and threat management specialist, deploying open source and other intelligence craft in working with clients to reduce their cyber, physical, financial, operational, and reputational risk profiles, including threats posed by the dark web.
Prior to founding Presage Global, Edward held leading family office roles at Dentons, Credit Suisse, Citibank, and Boston Private. Edward began his career in the public sector, working for the federal government in the United States and abroad. He currently serves on the advisory board and co-heads the Family Office Initiative at the UHNW Institute.
Edward is a board member at the Defense Intelligence Memorial Foundation, which provides full scholarships to the families of Defense Intelligence officers killed in the line of duty. He also serves as the senior advisor to the president of The Kyiv School of Economics in Ukraine and founded “After Service”, an NGO that supports Ukrainian veterans.
Edward earned his MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a B.S. in human biology from Michigan State University. He resides in the New York City area.
