Charlie brings experience in data aggregation, data analysis, legal research, and writing to Baretz+Brunelle, employing these skills to support B+B’s Talent and other service lines. Charlie also draws on experience in political and legal reputational work to help law firms execute initiatives aimed at their most important audiences.
Before joining B+B, Charlie gained experience in a variety of law-related fields. A former intern at the Exoneration Initiative, he reviewed court transcripts and drafted memos to judges seeking the exoneration of a prisoner facing multiple life sentences. Later, Charlie conducted research at Vanderbilt’s political science lab, the ROCCA Lab, researching, writing, and coding a database used by advocates for victims of political violence in Bolivia. He also created original content for a mayoral campaign in Nashville.
